This necklace was created with the theme of pearls in mind and focuses on the history of how pearls are created.
According to an ancient Greek legend, pearls are created when lightning strikes the sea.
In reality, pearls are produced today by systematically and violently interfering with the life of mussels.
Cast from sterling silver using the lost wax process, a strong necklace is created that builds up around the neck, concentrates its energy as a cloud of lightning and finally discharges in the form of a pearl.
Far removed from the culturally meek and innocent connotations, the dynamic and angry character of the pearl is exposed.

This sterling silver piece was inspired by the magical appearance and variety of shapes of cephalopods.

It consists of a total of five individual pieces, including two pendants inspired by the tentacles of octopuses and squid.

In addition, two necklaces were also produced, which are based on the outline of the lateral seam of the cuttlefish and the nautilus shell. These individual pieces all have a clasp that snaps into a box lock, which acts as a link between the pendant and the necklace.

This creates a versatile piece of jewelry that can be individually combined and expresses the extraordinary diversity of cephalopods.

This work is about the formal language of the Celtic and pre-Celtic population of Ireland.

Inspired by the mystical ring and cup forms of High Banks, half hidden under moss, a bridge has been built between the two cultures using the processing techniques and materials of the later Celtic settlers. The chiselled, enamel-covered shapes are contrasted by the bright colors of the amber cabochons.

The result is a versatile piece of jewelry that can be put together in different ways using clasps.

As part of an intensive examination of coral, a modern jewelry series was created that reinterprets its historical, biological and symbolic significance.

Instead of a lucky charm or status symbol, it is seen as a design element. Its fragile structure and origins in the marine ecosystem form a deliberate contrast to the severity of geometric shapes.

Red corals in silver settings symbolize the tension between nature and construction.

The collection invites reflection on the beauty of marine habitats and the responsible use of resources - and opens up a new perspective on coral as a carrier of history and meaning.
